| Many of you may know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. In one way or another we all have been touched by breast cancer and the biggest question is 'What can I do?' Well, last year Laura from Following The Paper Trail decided to do something by organizing a mini scrap book album challenge and held a silent auction from which all the proceeds went to the Susan G. Komen for a Cure Foundation through their Passionately Pink for a Cure event program.
What can you do you do? Well, we need help to promote the auction. Place a link on your blog to www.miniforthecure.blogspot.com to let others know about the auction. You can also spread the word by sending emails to your friends and family. And for your help you will have a chance to win a blog candy. Leave a comment below letting us know what you have done to promote the auction and that gives you a chance to win. Earn 2 EXTRA entries by making a donation at the Mini For The Cure donation website. Once all designers have completed their mini albums the photographs will be posted on this blog and the silent auction will begin. To qualify be sure to include the link to Mini For The Cure blog (www.miniforthecure.blogspot.com) when you share this event with others. The bidding will end at 6 pm Pacific Time on (date to be announced.) High bidders will be notified after November 7th and the winners will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation's "Passioantely Pink for a Cure" website to make the donation in the amount of the bid. The winners will receive the mini from the creator as a thank you for their donation. |
